May 29th was a very full day for “A Ride With Matt”:
Matt, Karla, Robert, Deane, and Church Tam (very accomplished sound technician (or boom & mic musician) spent the entire day filming in Sacramento. Terry Tempkin and Lisa Kjer at the UC Davis Center of Excellence agreed to sit down with us for an entire morning of interviews and just to talk and share with Matt and Karla.
Everyone then was welcomed into the UC Davis Institute for Regenerative Cures just next door, where Matt and Karla were taken in by a family of researchers, patient advocates, volunteers, technicians, and bunny-suit-wearers, including Dr. Jan Nolta, Director of the very same, very exciting, Stem Cell Program that we came to film and learn more about, as well as the Director of the entire Institute for Regenerative Cures itself!
Aside from making Matt and the entire “A Ride With Matt” team feel immediately a part of the family there, Dr. Nolta also recommended the following local blog-radio show for us to share with our HD community here. Please take a look/listen and share!
